Asia Svayrieng Water Co., Ltd. (“ASW”) was registered under Cambodian Law in January 2020. In March 2022 it received a Water Supply Business License (20 years) from the Ministry of Industry Science Technology and Innovation (“MISTI”) to allow exclusivity to sell potable water to 53 Villages in the Districts of Chantrea and Bavet  Town, Svayrieng Province.

Subsequent significant events follow:

Receipt of a raw water permit for raw water extraction Daun Toi Lake from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (“MOWRAM”) in April 2024

Receipt of a Backfill Permit for provision of the Water Intake Building from the Administration of Svay Rieng Province in July 2024

Commencement of Construction and pipeline installation, May 2024

Completion of Phase 1 construction and pipeline installation and commencement of operations in January 2025

Receipt of the Permit of Operations Certificate from MISTI to allow water sales

With a current planned investment exceeding 20 million Us Dollars, work is now ongoing to expand the current treatment capacity of 15,000 cubic meters of water per day with a target to achieve water coverage at 100% by 2030.
